So as I'm writing this, London left for home two days ago. Having him over was a blast, honestly one of the best IRL meetups I can say I've ever had. Even though it was just a week, every day felt so lovely, so cozy, so nice...
Some highlights include:
- He brought me some adorable gifts, like a little kitty cat handbag, and a friendship bracelet with a cat and a dog (that's us!)
- London meeting Jojo, my family's dog (I should probably mention London is a dogboy, this will come up later)
- Getting to see his CD copies of the Mailpup and Fanservice albums
- Just lounging around with him all day, honestly we could be doing nothing and I'd still enjoy every second
- A voice call on discord with us in the same room
- Going out on walks, especially to the site of a local pond/lake with some benches to cuddle on
- Speaking of, the cuddles. London is SUCH a big cuddly thing. He's incredibly soft and loved on me so much.
- Him warming me up with his radiant body heat, me cooling him down with my perpetually cold paws
- London, all geared up in his dog ears and tail, play bowing and wagging his tail and barking!! Like a puppy!!
- Facing off against each other in Tetris Effect
- Watching A Whisker Away and Spirited Away
- London preparing breakfast for us
- London bringing me breakfast in bed!!
- Saying good night every night, and texting each other to see who comes over to snuggle first every morning...
The big event that happened is we went to an amusement park! I didn't list it above cause it could use its own section. You had it all - hot dogs and fry baskets, rigged claw games, absolutely terrifying rides, souvenir shops... and all on such a nice day! Personally, I went out wearing my cat ears and tail. I can get away with it, after all, as I so proved~
For real though... looking back, we bonded a lot during this trip. I can easily say he's made me less afraid to be close to people. If I can be more vulnerable with this one dog, and be completely loved and adored, maybe I don't have to be as afraid. Although I am still afraid. But I think this is one of the people I trust most out of anyone I've ever met, and I do not say that lightly.
